Many UK retailers and networks start their offers in early to mid November, and some run them until the end of the month. We'll add deals here as they launch.
How to spot a genuine Black Friday deal
- Compare the total cost, not the monthly price: upfront + monthly × contract length. Our deal picker on each phone page does this for you.
- Check the usual price. A "was" price should be what the product actually sold for recently. We only show crossed-out prices taken from the retailer.
- Watch for price rises. Most contracts go up each April by a set amount in pounds and pence. Factor that in.
- Consider SIM-free plus SIM-only. Buying the phone outright and adding a rolling SIM often beats a 24-month contract, Black Friday or not.
- Don't rush. Good deals often last the whole weekend, and many come back for Cyber Monday.

Are Black Friday phone deals really cheaper?
Often, but not always. Some "deals" match prices seen earlier in the year. Compare the total cost over the contract and check whether buying SIM-free with a SIM-only plan works out cheaper.
Should I wait for Black Friday to switch SIM?
If you're on a rolling plan, you can switch any time, so you lose nothing by waiting. If a good SIM-only deal is available now, there's no need to wait either: SIM-only prices change less on Black Friday than phone prices.
Will travel eSIMs be on offer?
