Latest research: UK Roaming Cost Report 2026
We compared what a week of mobile data costs on Vodafone, EE and O2 roaming against a travel eSIM, across 16 popular holiday destinations. Prices checked on 2 November 2026.
- Roaming outside Europe costs £6–£8 a day. A week on Vodafone is £56.
- A travel eSIM for the same week costs a one-off £5–£20.
- The biggest saving is in Turkey: £50.96 a week.
- On average, an eSIM saves £44.68 a week, or about £179 for a family of four.
- A family of four on Vodafone pays £224 for a week of data outside Europe.
