Flagship or budget Galaxy?
If you're buying a Galaxy S26 or S26 Ultra, you're likely to stream, shoot video and hotspot, so a 100GB or unlimited plan makes sense. For a Galaxy A17 or A37 used mainly for messaging, maps and social media, a 5GB to 50GB plan from £5 a month is usually plenty.
eSIM on Galaxy phones
Recent Galaxy S and Z models support both a physical SIM and eSIM, and some newer A-series phones do too. Chattr, 1pMobile and Rewild Mobile offer eSIM if you'd rather skip waiting for a SIM in the post. Check your phone's settings under Connections, then SIM manager.
Buying the phone too?
New Galaxy phones start at £219 (Galaxy A17). Buying SIM-free and adding a rolling SIM keeps you free to switch, and each phone page shows the two-year cost with each plan.
