Who is iD Mobile?
iD Mobile is the mobile network brought to you by Currys, and says it has more than 2.5 million subscribers. It doesn't own masts: it runs on the network formed by the VodafoneThree merger, and quotes 99% UK population 4G coverage based on the Three network. It also has coverage across 131 parts of the London Underground, including 59 stations.
iD says it has been recognised for great value by Which? in 2023, 2024 and 2025, and has won awards from Uswitch and Trusted Reviews, including Trusted Reviews' Best Network for Roaming in 2024 and 2025.
Price and plans
Every plan has unlimited minutes and texts. The longer you commit, the more data you get for the same price. These are iD's own prices on 3 November 2026.

The big selling point is that SIM-only prices don't go up each April, unlike many networks. The price you sign up at is the price you pay. This applies to SIM-only plans: iD's phone contracts do rise, by a fixed £1.80 a month each April.

Roaming: check before you travel
iD's included roaming is generous in its 50 destinations, which include Spain and other popular European countries. Outside that list, iD charges pay-as-you-go rates, and they add up fast. On 3 November 2026, iD's roaming checker listed these data prices for pay monthly customers:

At those rates, even a few minutes of maps or social media could cost more than a month's plan. If you're heading somewhere that isn't included, turn data roaming off and use a travel eSIM instead.
