Zzoomm review 2026

Zzoomm builds its own full fibre network in English market towns. Here's what you get, what it costs, and who it suits.

4.5 / 5

Our verdict: fast, fairly priced full fibre with matching upload speeds, a free router and a rare no-contract option. The only catch is that you have to live where Zzoomm has built.

What we like

  • Upload speeds match download speeds on every plan
  • From £22 a month on a 24-month plan
  • Free router and free standard installation
  • FlexiMonth: rolling monthly full fibre with no contract
  • Pays up to £200 of your old provider's exit fees

Things to know

  • Only available in towns where Zzoomm has built its network
  • 24-month plans go up £4 a month from month 13
  • FlexiMonth costs noticeably more than a contract
  • Home phone and TV cost extra

Who is Zzoomm?

Zzoomm is an independent UK broadband provider. Instead of renting lines from Openreach, it lays its own full fibre cables to homes in market towns and smaller communities across England. In February 2026 it finished bringing FullFibre's business under the Zzoomm brand, and says its network now passes more than 600,000 homes and businesses.

Price and plans

There are four speeds, and you choose how long to commit. The 24-month plans are cheapest in year one, then rise by £4 a month from month 13. These are new-customer prices from Zzoomm's website on 2 November 2026.

Speed (up and down)24 months12 monthsFlexiMonth
200Mbps£22, then £26£24£32
500Mbps£24, then £28£27£37
1,000Mbps£26, then £30£29£48
2,300Mbps£35, then £39£39£70

The 1,000Mbps plan is the sweet spot. On a 24-month deal it's only £4 more than the 200Mbps plan, for five times the speed. The 200 and 500 plans come with a Wi-Fi 6 router, and the 1,000 and 2,300 plans with Wi-Fi 7.

Contract and switching

FlexiMonth is the standout for flexibility. It's full fibre with no contract at all, which is rare and handy if you rent or might move. You pay for that freedom, though: the 1,000Mbps FlexiMonth plan is £48 a month against £26 on a 24-month deal.

Switching is easy. Zzoomm uses Ofcom's One Touch Switch, so it arranges the move and your old service is cancelled once Zzoomm is live. If you're still in contract elsewhere, its Contract Buyout scheme covers up to £200 of your exit fees. You need to register on the same day you order and claim within 90 days.

Extras

Who is Zzoomm best for?

Anyone in a Zzoomm town who wants fast, reliable full fibre without paying big-brand prices, especially households that work from home, upload video or game online, where matching upload speed really helps. If you'd rather not sign a contract, FlexiMonth is one of the few full fibre options that lets you leave any month. If Zzoomm hasn't reached your street, see our broadband guide for other options.
