- Works with unlocked, eSIM-compatible phones
- The plan starts when you first connect at your destination
How it works
- Pick your destination on the website or in the iPhone or Android app.
- Pay once by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Revolut Pay. There's no contract.
- Install the eSIM with one tap on your phone, or by scanning a QR code from another device. The plan starts when you first connect at your destination, and you can top up if you need more.

Prices compared
On popular destinations, eSIM For U is often cheaper for the same data. A 10GB plan valid for 30 days, on 6 November 2026:
| Destination | eSIM For U | WorldSIM |
|---|---|---|
| Dubai & UAE | £13.09 | £16.42 |
| Andorra | £15.99 | £15.70 |
| Switzerland | £14.49 | £8.24 |
Prices vary by destination, so compare both on each destination page. Every page shows live prices from both providers, plus what UK roaming would cost instead.
Coverage
Each destination page on eSIM For U shows which local network the eSIM uses and whether 5G is available. In Dubai, for example, plans use du with up to 5G, and in the USA they use AT&T and Verizon. Where there's no 5G, you connect over 4G.
Who is eSIM For U best for?
Travellers who want a cheap data plan sized to their trip, from a short city break to a long stay, without paying UK roaming charges. For frequent European trips, a SIM-only plan with free roaming might suit you better: see SIMs with free roaming.
